We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to support inventory accuracy material availability and operational efficiency within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for analyzing inventory data monitoring stock levels identifying trends and maintaining accurate inventory records to support production objectives.
The Inventory Analyst partners cross-functionally with Operations Production Logistics Quality and Finance to improve inventory performance reduce discrepancies optimize inventory levels and drive continuous process improvements through data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities
- Design schedule and execute cycle count programs across all inventory locations.
- Coordinate cycle counts with warehouse and production teams to minimize operational disruption.
- Analyze inventory count results investigate discrepancies and drive timely resolution.
- Maintain inventory records and prepare inventory accuracy reports.
- Lead root cause investigations for inventory variances shortages and overages.
- Partner with Receiving Production Quality Finance and Logistics to resolve inventory issues.
- Document findings and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Track recurring inventory issues and recommend process improvements.
- Monitor inventory accuracy KPIs including location accuracy item accuracy and overall inventory health.
- Develop dashboards and reporting to communicate inventory performance.
- Support physical inventories and year-end audits.
- Maintain data integrity within the ERP system and correct inventory-related system issues.
- Ensure accurate finished goods inventory to support shipping customer fulfillment and operational planning.
- Provide inventory availability insights to support production planning.
- Assist with material replenishment to ensure production schedules are met.
- Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings as the inventory subject matter expert.
- Identify inventory risks and communicate potential shortages proactively.
- Cross-train as backup support for production scheduling and demand planning functions.
- Support capacity planning and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) activities as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Operations Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control supply chain or a manufacturing environment.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of inventory control principles and cycle count methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP Oracle or similar).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to interpret inventory data and identify trends.
- Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and production planning is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- APICS/ASCM CPIM CSCP Lean Manufacturing or other Supply Chain certifications.
- Experience supporting production scheduling or demand planning.
