Job Summary
Student Worker - Intramural Staff
Purpose/Objective of the Role:
The Intramural Staff assists in the daily operations of the intramural sports program. This position provides a fun and safe recreational environment for participants by helping with game management enforcing policies and promoting sportsmanship.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Officiate score keep or assist with set-up/tear-down of intramural games and events.
- Ensure safety of participants and proper use of equipment/facilities.
- Enforce program rules policies and sportsmanship standards.
- Provide excellent customer service and answer participant questions.
- Report any incidents injuries or equipment needs to professional staff.
Qualifications:
- Current student in good standing.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of sports rules is preferred but training is provided.
- Dependable responsible and able to work evening shifts.
