Sign-On Bonus: $15000!

Full-Time Day Shift - 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

On Call: 7-8 call shifts per month (1 shift per week and 1 weekend per month) within a 30-minute radius

Job Summary:

  • As an Interventional Radiology Technologist under the general supervision of a Radiologist you will perform high-quality interventional radiology procedures on both ambulatory and hospital patients. Your role will be essential in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries adhering to established protocols.

Essential Functions Experience:

    • Conduct high-quality IR procedures efficiently maintaining established production and quality standards.
    • Use AIDET principles to effectively communicate with patients and ensure correct procedures are performed.
    • Prepare patients and the procedure area ensuring safety and compliance with infection-control policies.
    • Maintain equipment and work areas to meet cleanliness standards and report any issues to management.
    • Ensure proper documentation and medical imaging records are maintained in compliance with department policies.
    • Proven ability to perform detailed interventional radiology procedures autonomously.
    • Strong communication skills with a knack for putting patients at ease.
    • Capable of thriving in fast-paced environments and managing stress effectively.
    • Experience with first aid and emergency procedures.
    • Demonstrated commitment to continuous education and the ability to mentor new team members.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited program with experience in a busy IR lab (Neuro and Trauma experience preferred).
  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
  • ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
  • Valid Texas Medical Board MRT license.
  • Certification in ARRT Cardiac Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CI) ARRT Interventional Radiography (ARRT-VI) or ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CV) within two years of hire.
