Job Summary

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Hackensack NJ
Schedule: MondayFriday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Shift: Day Shift (No weekends or holidays)

Compensation:

  • Travel Pay: From $2660/week
  • Local Pay: $55/hour
Job Summary

The Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered care using evidence-based practices and established nursing standards. This role ensures safe and effective care delivery throughout all phases of patient treatment including pre-procedure intra-procedure and post-procedure care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with clinical standards and protocols
  • Communicate effectively with patients families and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Administer medications using advanced safety and documentation systems
  • Perform real-time electronic documentation of patient assessments care plans and outcomes
  • Deliver patient and family education to support health and recovery
  • Coordinate discharge planning to ensure safe transitions of care
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in critical care pre-operative and/or PACU settings
  • Strong telemetry background and certification required
  • Associate or Bachelors degree in Nursing (ASN or BSN)
  • Active Registered Nurse license (state or compact license)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 years of PACU experience
