Job Summary
Interventional Radiologic Technologist
Location:Syracuse New York (NY)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join a dynamic imaging team. The technologist will perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety image quality and compliance with radiation protection standards.
Schedule
- Day Shift
- 8:00 AM 6:30 PM
- Rotating weekends and holidays
- On-call coverage required (approximately 24 days per month)
- Overtime may be required based on departmental needs
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology (A.A.S.) or equivalent
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License/Registration
- Minimum 1 year of CT and/or MRI experience as a Radiologic Technologist
- Ability to successfully complete pre-employment health clearance requirements

Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic and interventional imaging examinations as directed by radiologists
- Prepare educate and position patients for procedures
- Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and departmental protocols
- Document procedures accurately within imaging and hospital information systems
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions promptly
- Support physicians and radiologists during interventional procedures
- Ensure patient comfort safety and satisfaction throughout the imaging process
