Aquatics:

• Hire train schedule and supervise certified lifeguards
• Hold regular in-service trainings for lifeguards and aquatic staff
• Organize community swimming opportunities (hiring staff advertising to the community etc.)
• Ensure the pool is opened in the morning and locked in the evening
• Schedule a certified staff member in the pool anytime it is open. Be the point person for any pool issues (technology facility emergent)
• Coordinate with athletics and schedule facility pool rentals
• Work with Ben Davis High School athletic teams and athletic trainers to schedule and oversee as necessary pool recovery workouts for these teams/programs
• Bi-monthly in-services with lifeguards
• Work with maintenance custodial Health Dept. and Athletics
• Work with Amy Eaton on pool rental
• What account do pool rental earnings go into
• Work with Julia Wilson to set up payment link for cardio room open swim season pass
• Amy - Are we open only when school is in session as in the past or are we staying open aside from the two shutdown weeks
• Grand Re-Opening
• After Labor Day

Cardio Room:

• Hire the supervisors for the cardio room
• Advertise the room for Wayne staff and community
• Work closely with the EDC on their vision for community access

Details:

• Cardio room/MPA Track hours of operation
• Community/Staff/Student hours: Monday - Friday mornings 6:00 am - 7:15 am
• Staff/Student hours: Monday - Thursday 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm
• Open Swim
• Wednesday evenings: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
