Internship, Universal Creative – Engineering & Safety Controls, Virtual Commissioning (Spring 2027)

JOB SUMMARY: Internwill participate in newattraction developmentwith Universal this position theinternwill learnthe processofbuildingand testing ride and showcontrol system designs and methodsbyworkingwith theteam leadingthe virtualcommissioning effort. Internwill gain a working knowledge ofindustrysafety and standards byapplying softwareenterprise and game/modelingknowledge.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Createand enhancesoftware tools for use by other UDXteammembers.
• Emulatedevicebehavior with scripts inside of Unityto maintainup todate versions of the modelin step withreal worlddevelopment.
• Work individuallyor inpairs/groups to completethetasks necessary to provide value to the toolsthathave alreadybeen created.
• Interest in andunderstanding of PLCsoftware will beintegralsince tools interact heavilyanddirectly withthat software(provided byothers).
• Maybe askedtocontribute to all aspectsof full stackdevelopmentincluding front endbackend and database development.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• In pursuit of an Associate Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
• Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
• A transcript is required upon application.
• C# .NET orany object orientated programminglanguage

PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

• Preferred majors include: Computer Engineering SoftwareEngineering Computer Science ElectricalEngineering or similar.
• Unity CADLadder Logic

• This internship will be an in-person experience based in our Orlando offices.
• Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university and must have a graduation date later than April 2027.
• Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
• All of our internships are paid and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
