JOB SUMMARY
: This internship offers a unique hands-on opportunity to gain experience in all facets of digital 3D media production from concept development through final visualization. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of 3D content creation including look development and animation. This role requires both technical proficiency and artistic sensibility as well as a collaborative mindset and a strong desire to learn and grow within a professional team environment.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate on a variety of media projects under general supervision contributing to the creative and technical execution of 3D content.
  • Assist in the creation of detailed 3D models and environmental visualizations to support concept development and design reviews.
  • Contribute to the production of high-quality photorealistic renderings and animations for use in project presentations proposals and marketing material.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • In pursuit of an Associate Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
  • Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
  • A transcript is required upon application.

PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Preferred majors include: Animation Gaming VFX Themed Entertainment.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Maya and Unreal Engine is required.
  • Experience with Houdini and Nuke is highly desirable.
  • Basic familiarity with Python scripting or Blueprints is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects ZBrush Substance Designer and Substance Painter is preferred.

  • This internship will be an in-person experience based in our Orlando offices.
  • Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university and must have a graduation date later than April 2027.
  • Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
  • All of our internships are paid and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
