Internship Opportunity Data Science Intern

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Summer Intern to join our Data Science and Analytics team. This role is ideal for a student interested in gaining hands-on experience in supply chain and manufacturing analytics. The intern will also engage in researching governance policies and data retention/training policies for various large language models (LLMs) in the market. This position offers the opportunity to apply analytical skills in a real-world business context contributing directly to projects that impact our operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze supply chain manufacturing and pricing data to identify trends efficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in the development and implementation of analytical models to solve complex business problems.
• Conduct comprehensive research on governance policies and data retention strategies for LLMs presenting findings to senior team members.
• Collaborate with data scientists and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Assist in the documentation and presentation of analysis results and project outcomes.
• Engage in continuous learning activities with other team members including workshops and seminars relevant to the role.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Data Science Computer Science Statistics or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in data manipulation and analysis tools such as SQL Python R or similar.
• Basic understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills capable of conveying complex information in an understandable manner.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Travel may be required up to 10% per internship period.
• Hybrid work eligible.
