The International Product Manager acts as the ultimate owner of their specific product area holding accountability for delivering measurable business outcomes beyond feature outputs. This role leads continuous product discovery and validation to ensure solutions are valuable to customers viable for the business and technically feasible. By providing strategic context and driving cross-functional collaboration the International Product Manager aligns engineering efforts with broader business goals while serving as the deep subject matter expert on the product domain.

The Opportunity

Main tasks:

• Product Outcome Accountability: Holds overall accountability for the products outcomes responsible for delivering measurable business results rather than just feature outputs.

• Continuous Discovery & Validation: Leads continuous product discovery to ensure solutions are valuable to customers viable for the business usable by users and technically feasible to build.

• Strategic Context & Alignment: Provides strategic context to the team ensuring that stable core teams are focused on work that is genuinely worth building and delivers necessary results.

• Cross-Functional Leadership: Drives cross-functional collaboration balancing the needs of customers the business and technical feasibility.

• Customer & Domain Expertise: Maintains comprehensive and well informed knowledge of customers/users (qualitative and quantitative) product data and the broader market and industry.

• Risk Ownership: Owns the customer value and viability risk ensuring the product meets business needs while solving customer problems.

Additional tasks:

• Data-Driven Learning: Constantly learns from customers and data to inform product decisions.

• Business Acumen: Applies deep business knowledge including finance sales and legal aspects to product decision-making.

• Owners Mindset: Maintains an owners mindset for the specific product or problem area acting as the critical element for the success of the empowered product team.

• Customer Advocacy: Acts as the expert on the users and customers to ensure their needs are central to the products development.

• Results-Driven Development: Ensures that all development work is results-driven and aligned with the established outcome goals.

Who You Are

• Bachelors Degree in Marketing Science or related field; Masters preferred

• Scientific or marketing background business acumen and 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or diagnostics industry sales and/or marketing are desired

• Strong understanding of diagnostics industry country and global product management and commercial operations.

• Demonstrated enterprise mindset commercial capabilities and value creation focus.

• Ability to inspire develop and empower colleagues to deliver impact and achieve results.

• Proven track record in leading strategic initiatives managing change and navigating ambiguity.

• Exceptional interpersonal influencing negotiation and conflict resolution abilities with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

• Customer-focused business-driven innovative and able to think and act across borders.

• Commitment to learning fostering partnerships and embracing Agile ways of working to break down silos.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Tucson is $117000-$217400. Actual pay will be determined based on experience qualifications geographic location and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
