TITLE: UHSTeam Facilitator

LOCATION: Urbana HighSchool

SUPERVISOR: Building Principal and Assistant Principal

JOB SUMMARY: UHS Team Facilitators are the facilitators for each academic team in 9th grade at Urbana High School.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Lead team meetings with the agenda provided to UHS administration (via Google Drive). Actively participate in Team Facilitator meetings held at least once a month with UHS administration.
  • Work with team members to create team goals and monitor progress toward goal attainment.
  • Budget team funds with input from team members. Approve all team spending.
  • Serve as an instructional and social-emotional leader both within and outside the team.
  • Lead collaboration around student academic attendance and SEL data that will create opportunities for the team to act on.
  • Implement school improvement initiatives within the team.
  • Showcase and explain the teams class content and achievements to students families and the community as requested by the administration.
  • Coordinate field trips with the building administrator on behalf of the team.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by administration.

LICENSES/CREDENTIAL: Valid Illinois Teaching Certificate with the appropriate endorsements.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

  • Salary is based on a stipend determined through the Urbana School District #116 and UEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.

  • This is a position within the collective bargaining unit and is not an administrative position.
  • One-year commitment (SY26-27)
