Internal Communications Specialist (Part-Time Temp Contract)

Job Summary
- Manage and help develop internal communications initiatives that keep employees informed and engaged with company goals priorities and activities.
- Identify and leverage opportunities to promote organizational initiatives achievements and key messages through internal communication channels.
- Plan coordinate and execute employee-facing events including quarterly all-hands meetings.
- Create and distribute internal newsletters intranet content employee announcements and other communications materials.
- Support initiatives that foster a culture of transparency collaboration and open communication across the organization.
- Ensure communications are delivered in a clear concise and engaging manner tailored to diverse employee audiences.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Communications Public Relations Journalism Marketing or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- At least one year of experience in corporate communications internal communications public relations or a related role.
- Demonstrated experience supporting employee communications and engagement initiatives.
- Strong writing editing and proofreading skills.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to translate complex or technical information into clear accessible messaging for a variety of audiences.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including SharePoint.
Preferred
- Experience supporting communications within a technical engineering manufacturing or aerospace environment.
- Familiarity with employee engagement programs event communications and intranet content management.

- Pay Range: $35-40/hour
- Schedule: Part-Time (approximately 2025 hours per week; flexible based on business needs)
