- Interact with potential candidates through recruiting activities reviewing resumes phone screens scheduling interviews conducting interviews and completing any additional parts of the hiring process.

- Craft marketing strategies focused content and posts that target early-career and college audiences for Nelnet On Campus channels; analyze social media outcomes. - Understand and articulate Nelnets business lines product/service offerings and markets to prospective associates and current interns.

- Support Nelnets intern program by planning/leading events and creating programming. - Participate in team and/or other business meetings and events to help lead and contribute to all hiring efforts at Nelnet.

- Collaborate with Corporate Recruiting associates on projects related to other areas of Nelnet.

- Assist with data entry to better inform Campus Recruiting strategy and improve future decision making.

- Help with clerical duties as needed.

EDUCATION:

- Rising Junior or Senior

- Working towards a 4-year degree in Marketing AD/PR Human Resources or related field

EXPERIENCE:

Prior internship experience ideal (does not have to be related to HR/Campus Recruiting)

COMPETENCIES SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

- Detail-oriented

- Good at building team relationships

- Previous experience with recruiting marketing and/or advertising concepts - Exhibits independence including decision making and time management - Organized

- Able to deliver projects on time

- Able to multitask

- Quick to learn; comfortable asking questions

- Strong oral and written communication

- Computer and standard software proficiency (Excel Outlook Word)

Pay - $16 - $17/hourly
