The Opportunity
Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Intern to join our team for summer 2027.
The Business Development Intern works as a member of the Business Development team under the direction and guidance of a Director to assist in the development of market research products to inform company decision makers; the development of marketing strategies; the development of should-cost estimates; the implementation of systems to improve the collection and communication of market information; and the preparation of proposals including estimates scope of work schedules terms and conditions and prices for various customer requests for proposals. Close coordination with other groups within Williams International and the customer is necessary.
Qualifications
- Must currently be enrolled in a Bachelors Degree program in Engineering Business or Project Management at junior or senior standing for Summer 2027 or enrolled in a Fall 2027 Masters program
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent writing presentation and speaking communication techniques are necessary
- Ability to translate complex product technical characteristics into compelling business development products is required
- Business development marketing program management or U.S. Government contract management experience will be very useful
- Must be capable of working in a fast paced and pressure filled environment on both commercial and U.S. Department of Defense projects
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
