Intermediate Machine Operator 3rd Shift

Job Description:

We are presently seeking candidates for a 3rd Shift Machine B Operator in the Manufacturing Department. The hours for this position will be 11:00pm - 7:00am Sunday - Thursday.

The Machine B Operator is responsible for the following:

• Performs manually and/or tends machines which perform various packaging functions such as filling labeling packing blistering or closing containers.
• Responsible for minor adjustments set-ups changeovers cleaning and general operation of various filling and packaging machines.
• Validates and organizes jobs in accordance with bill of materials and special work instructions based on current and future job orders.
• Responsible for conducting quality inspection of goods at the correct intervals ensuring that product is packaged according to the work order.
• Ability to identify problems and assist in troubleshooting/training on the cardboard baler plastic baler carton erector pallet jack pick and place card/blister adjustments taper/tape gun and additional production equipment.
• Assists in training assigned full time/temp operators and assists other teams as needed.
• Forklift experience required.
• Promotes and follows all Environmental Health Safety and Quality guidelines and procedures.
• Must have the ability to fill in for Material Handlers and Machine C Operators when needed.

Compensation Information:

$20.40 - $23.00 based upon experience. Additional $1.00 shift premium for working 3rd Shift.
