Job Summary/Basic Functions

An EKU Interior Finisher Tech I completes initial construction and repairs of university floors walls and ceilings. Interior Finisher Tech I will have knowledge and abilities to work with various finish materials such as ceramic plaster drywall paint caulk VCT LVT Carpet etc. This position will work closely with the Craft Foreman and Structural Supervisor to complete work orders assigned in a quality timely and safe manner.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED is required

Experience: 1 year or an equivalent combination of education experience which provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.

Licensure & Certifications: Requires a valid state drivers license.

80% - Performs the Planning installation maintenance and repair to address problems documented on assigned work orders and as outlined in established procedures and regulations. - (Essential)
15% - Maintains records of time materials and resources according to established procedures and as directed - (Essential)
5% - Supports the smooth and efficient operations of the department and the University - (Essential)
