Interface Analyst

Varian Medical Systems is hiring an Interface Development Specialist II on a remote this role you will be responsible for analyzing and coordinating the development of HL7 interfaces between Varians ARIA Database and customer systems such as Epic Cerner and LabCorp. The role utilizes ARIA Connect (which utilizes Cloverleaf). Collaboration is required with customers clinical team & IT staff Varian project managers consultants installation and service teams and third-party vendors to ensure successful interoperability.

What You will do:

• Develop and program high-quality interfaces applying strong technical and organizational skills

• Convertexistingcustomers interfaces fromthe Information Exchange Management (IEM)product to ARIA Connect

• Configurenew interfaces using the ARIA Connect

• Provide technical guidance to meet customer interface requirements

• Prepare interface specification documents perform configuration data manipulation unit testing and support delivered interfaces

• Report issues to Product Engineering

• Apply knowledge of HL7 standards general HIS system integration and interface related practices within the healthcare environment toensureappropriateapplicationand integration of Varian OIS

What You will have:

• Bachelorsdegreeand2yearsofrelevantexperienceor equivalent

• Experience with Cloverleaf interface engine

• Knowledge and understanding of the HL7 Standard the variations that can differ between vendors and clients and what constitutes allowable and valid site-specific variations.

• Understandingofadditionalstandardmessaging structures as well as communicationprotocols

• Knowledge and understanding of the types of data used in the healthcare industry.

• Knowledge and Experience with other data interchange formats. Primarily HL7 XML and XPATH but other business-to-business formats will beconsidered

• Experience writing TCL scripting is preferred

• General database knowledge

• Effective professional communication

• Analytical and interpretive skills including the ability to make recommendations to improve the business and interface processes.

• Strong analytical organizational and communication skills; ability to work independently and in teams

• Effective timeline management and deadline adherence

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java Python C TCL

• Advanced Microsoft Server Windows and SQL Server expertise

• Strong troubleshooting skills with the Microsoft windows and Cloverleaf environments.

The base pay range for this position is:

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market skills education experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Companys plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
