Position Summary:

Intensive Services Outpatient Therapists provide mental health services including individual group and family therapy in the clinic school community and clients home. The Intensive Services Outpatient Therapist will be working within the context of a team to provide intensive mental health to clients referred through the Wraparound FSP IFCCS programs or the Outreach Triage teams (OTT/COTT). The therapist works collaboratively with the team to assess and link the families to needed community services and coordinate all the services that the client receives. The therapist documents all service according to DMH and Penny Lane guidelines.

The IS Outpatient Therapist possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills when working with clients outside agencies members of the community and co-workers. When in a clients home or school the Outpatient Therapist will employ a calm demeanor and good ethical and professional boundaries. Excellent clinical skills are used to assess the appropriate level of care for clients and stabilize clients in crisis. Teaming collaborating and coordination of care with all Penny Lane staff DCFS DMH and other outside agencies is crucial. This position requires flexibility excellent time management skills and the ability to manage responsibilities efficiently with little supervision.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Masters Degree in related field (MFT MSW LPCC).

• Must be registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences or the Board of Psychology.
• Bilingual Spanish Required.
• Valid California drivers license; current automobile insurance; have and maintain a clean driving record acceptable to the organizations insurance company; have immediate access to his or her vehicle during work hours.

Position Location: North Hills CA

Hybrid work schedule and service delivery via telehealth on occasion available.

Salary Range: $72560 up to $88728 per year

Additional $5000 per year bilingual Spanish differential.

$5000 SIGN ON BONUS! (Issued in two installments: $2500 upon hire and $2500 upon successfully completing the six month introductory period).
