JOB SUMMARY:

The position integrator is responsible for installing and connecting various electrical wiring systems on heavy trucks. The integrator is also responsible for ensuring electrical systems are operating correctly for each unit.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install and connect audio video communications and network wiring systems under supervision.
  • Utilize hand tools and test equipment safely and effectively.
  • Terminate Cat6 coaxial and other communication cables under supervision.
  • Perform basic AC/DC electrical wiring and soldering tasks under supervision.
  • Assist with the installation of equipment including monitors phones radios and rack-mounted equipment.
  • Read and interpret basic engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Conduct basic functional testing of installed systems.
  • Complete assigned paperwork and documentation accurately.
  • Follow company quality standards and safety procedures.
  • Report issues defects or safety concerns to supervisor

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 years of related experience.
  • Basic understanding of network audio/video RF and communications systems.
  • Ability to learn installation techniques and company standards.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Education.
  • Technical school certification in related field.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Working conditions will be inside and outside where temperatures will vary from extreme heat to extreme cold for extended periods of time. This position is regularly exposed to vibration and loud noises.
