Integration Tester

The Integration Tester plays a critical role in ensuring the stability accuracy and reliability of Navy Mutuals enterprise applications and system integrations. This position is responsible for designing executing and continuously improving testing strategies across a complex technology environment that includes policy administration systems customer-facing applications CRM platforms integration services and other interconnected business successful candidate will partner closely with business stakeholders developers project managers business analysts vendors and subject matter experts to validate system functionality ensure data integrity and support successful software releases. This role requires a strong understanding of integration testing methodologies enterprise application testing and quality assurance best Integration Tester will serve as a champion of quality by leading testing efforts across multiple projects while helping drive confidence in Navy Mutuals systems through thorough planning execution reporting and continuous Duties and ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance & TestingLead testing and quality assurance efforts for Navy Mutual software applications with a primary focus on the Policy Administration System and its integrations with other enterprise maintain and execute comprehensive test strategies test plans test cases and test scripts aligned with business and technical and coordinate multiple testing disciplines including:System TestingIntegration TestingEnd-to-End (E2E) TestingRegression TestingSmoke TestingUser Acceptance Testing (UAT)Verify that software releases meet functional technical and business requirements before production validation activities and provide Go/No-Go recommendations during software Integration TestingValidate data flows and business processes across interconnected applications and APIs file transfers middleware integrations customer-facing applications and other enterprise system data accuracy completeness and integrity across integration issues and coordinate defect resolution with technical and business Automation & Release SupportCollaborate with technical teams to develop maintain and enhance automated testing and analyze automated regression testing in release planning release readiness reviews and deployment support testing estimates and assess testing scope effort and release risks for upcoming potential release impacts and communicate risks to project Management & Problem ResolutionAnalyze application issues defects and unexpected system track and manage defects throughout the software development resolution efforts with developers vendors and business defect fixes and ensure successful implementation before production CollaborationPartner with Business Analysts Developers Project Managers Subject Matter Experts Operations Accounting Compliance Customer Service and external vendors throughout project in requirements gathering design reviews and implementation planning testing progress risks issues and outcomes to stakeholders in a timely and effective testing results recommendations and release readiness assessments to leadership and project ImprovementEvaluate and enhance QA methodologies testing standards and testing documentation process improvements that increase testing effectiveness and software audits quality reviews and post-implementation establish and maintain best practices for enterprise testing and quality ResponsibilitiesReview business and technical documentation for accuracy completeness and priorities and testing activities to support changing business needs and release other duties as QualificationsBachelors degree in Information Systems Computer Science Business Technology or a related field or equivalent combination of education and of 3-5 years of experience in software testing quality assurance systems analysis or enterprise application testing enterprise business applications and complex system developing and executing test plans test cases test scripts and testing performing:Integration TestingEnd-to-End TestingUser Acceptance Testing (UAT)Smoke TestingRegression TestingAPI TestingExperience supporting or executing automated regression analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and competing written verbal and interpersonal communication QualificationsExperience in the financial services insurance or annuity working with life insurance policy administration testing CRM platforms customer portals middleware solutions and enterprise business working within Agile software development with test automation frameworks and automated testing of software development lifecycle (SDLC) release management processes and quality assurance best (Fellow Life Management Institute)
