Job Description:

The Integration & Test Manager (Level 5) provides technical and organizational leadership for system integration test engineering and field test operations supporting advanced military GPS and Position Navigation and Timing (PNT) systems. This role directs a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for validating product performance resiliency and mission readiness across lab production and contested field environments.

This leader ensures endtoend integration maturity drives execution of complex test campaigns and maintains alignment with military performance standards and mission requirements. The manager interfaces directly with systems engineering hardware software firmware production and program management teams while coordinating externally with government partners test ranges and mission stakeholders.

Navigation Solutions products support warfighters in denied or degraded environments. This role plays a critical part in ensuring receivers simulators and PNT subsystems maintain reliability and mission effectiveness under adversarial conditions such as jamming spoofing and interference.

Essential Functions:

• Lead and develop a team of integration engineers test engineers and field engineers responsible for lab and field validation activities.
• Oversee development integration and sustainment of Special Test Equipment (STE) supporting FQT ATP FAT EMI environmental and manufacturing test workflows.
• Translate CONOPS into clear testable system requirements and integration directives that guide design implementation and verification activities.
• Direct system-level integration efforts including test readiness reviews configuration control deployment planning and execution oversight.
• Manage development and improvement of automated test frameworks including scripting equipment drivers debug tools data handling and reporting infrastructure.
• Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration with engineering quality and production leadership for seamless test operations and rapid issue resolution.
• Oversee configuration and management of complex production lab environments including automation infrastructure lab networks power systems and integrated test setups.
• Provide leadership for planning coordinating and executing live-sky and range-based field test events in contested degraded and threat-representative environments.
• Approve detailed field test plans instrumentation configurations and validation methods ensuring compliance with military requirements.
• Ensure proper operation and configuration of RF/GPS/PNT instrumentation and portable field equipment used during test missions.
• Guide review interpretation and communication of large datasets from field events; ensure accurate performance characterization and anomaly identification.
• Serve as primary point of contact with external test ranges government agencies customers and mission partners for field test coordination and reporting.
• Maintain accountability for test asset control calibration configuration verification and readiness of field test kits and specialized equipment.
• Deliver high-quality technical reports briefings and presentations to internal leadership and external stakeholders including customer representatives.
• Drive root-cause analysis and corrective action activities across RF hardware embedded software digital interfaces and environmental interactions.
• Lead refinement of threat models adversarial test profiles and emerging operational scenarios to align with changing mission needs.
• Ensure team compliance with system security practices.
• Travel up to 10%.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in a STEM discipline with 9 years of relevant experience; OR graduate degree with 7 years; OR 15 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Active U.S. Secret Clearance.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Direct leadership experience managing integration and test engineering teams.
• Deep understanding of RF fundamentals interference effects GPS/PNT signal characteristics jamming/spoofing mechanisms and field test operations.
• Extensive experience using IBM DOORS for requirements development decomposition traceability and verification management.
• Strong background in Python scripting automation development and hardware/software debugging.
• Proven ability to lead complex system integration efforts and improve test automation processes.
• Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale field test campaigns including planning logistics safety and execution oversight.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to diagnose cross-domain issues spanning RF hardware embedded software digital interfaces and environmental stressors.
• Excellent verbal written and presentation communication skills including experience briefing leadership and customers.
• Demonstrated experience serving as a Control Account Manager (CAM) with full responsibility for cost schedule and technical performance of assigned control accounts.
• Understanding of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles including development and maintenance of cost accounts basis of estimates (BOEs) work authorization documents budgets schedules and performance metrics.
• Flexible work schedule but 4/10 is preferred

In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in California is $122000 - $227000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
