Insurance Verification Specialist

Spero Health is seeking an Insurance Verification Specialist to join our awesome team in Brentwood TN!

This position is for an Insurance Verification Specialist who supports the mission of Saving Lives Instilling Hope and Restoring Relationships in an integrated team with patients receiving counseling case management and medically assisted treatment. The Insurance Verification Specialists responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Verifies clients healthcare benefits and coverage levels to ensure Spero Health services and procedures are a covered by the clients provider
• Verifies client insurance coverage and benefits
• Verifies In-Network and Out of Network benefits
• Verifies clients responsibility such as deductible co-insurance and co-pays
• Obtains authorizations pre-certifications and referrals according the benefits and services/procedures.
• Communicates accurate benefits to clinical team-mates in a timely manner.

Education:

• High School Diploma/GED required

Experience:

• 1 - 2 years of experience within a healthcare setting
