GEICOs Contracts and Forms team is seeking a motivated professional and detail-oriented individual for a contract analyst position. As an analyst you will create review maintain and update insurance policies and forms to ensure compliance with state legal and regulatory requirements in addition to supporting business goals. Your work will focus on various insurance products including Auto Boat Motorcycle RV and Umbrella. This role works closely with product managers and teams across Tech Legal and other departments requiring the ability to build strong working relationships and effectively partner with a wide range of stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be highly organized with effective communication skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines think critically and handle multiple projects at various stages simultaneously. The position requires time management skills and the ability to identify and interpret relevant state regulations and policy language. Candidates must have strong people skills strong technical writing skills and be willing to take initiative and ownership of assigned projects.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or currently pursuing is preferred.

  • 3-5 years of experience in Underwriting Contracts Compliance or Claims is preferred.

  • Understanding of state insurance regulations policy language and research techniques.

  • Draft and review policy documents and understand contractual language.

  • Strong research and writing skills and an eagerness to be involved in a dynamic company

  • Ability to quickly digest and understand business processes and procedures

  • Demonstrated experience problem solving

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams both legal and non-legal.

Location: Hybrid This position requires the individual to work 3 days onsite at our Macon GA Fredericksburg VA or Tucson AZ locations.
