Insurance Agency Customer Service Representative

We are hiring a Customer Service Agent to join our dynamic team. We represent over 50 insurance companies ranging from the largest and most recognizable carriers to the most reliable regional carriers enabling us to write any risk with a quality product.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handle customer service duties including taking payments and handling inspections
• Provide excellent customer service
• Mail quote letters to all in a timely manner
• Follow proper cash handling processes
• Knowledge of all systems and programs the company utilizes
• Cross-sell existing clients when appropriate
• Complete follow-up procedures for cross-selling new customers.
• Continue to learn product and underwriting detail of various carriers for additional sales opportunities and for professional development
• Assistance with other organizational projects when needed
• Contact canceled clients for reinstatement
• Other duties assigned at management discretion

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Must have and maintain a relevant P&C Insurance License
• Prior Insurance Customer Service
• Demonstrative knowledge of the Property and Casualty insurance industry
• Solid written and oral communication skills
• High school degree or its equivalency
• Bilingual a plus

Estimated Compensation Range: $17/hr.-$20/hr.*

*Published ranges are estimates. Offered compensation will be based on experience skills education certifications and geographic location.
