You will be responsible for the design specification bring up validation and deployment of automated instrumentation to calibrate and test Apples products through NPI and mass production.
Architect instrumentation systems (including HW specification) and maintain those systems through with our mechanical engineering team to specify and validate the required mechanical fixtures u0026 automation debug and optimize automation advanced signal processing and ML algorithms to evaluate performance of large amounts of data generated from your instrument systems and adopt data-driven approaches to solving engineering failure mode root cause analysis and resolution debugging from the system level down to the component closely with Apple Acoustics/Nu0026V system EE product design firmware operations and logistics interactions with contract manufacturers/vendors; developing SOPs debug instructions and documentation.
BS in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering or related disciplinen2 years professional experience (or equivalent) in design development debug validation and working with electro-mechanical systemsnBasic understanding of hardware concepts and EE fundamentals (i.e. HW architecture Control System Signal processing etc.)nProgramming skills in one or more of the following: C/C/Objective-C Python Luann
Working knowledge of consumer electronics modules like sensors (light/force/pressure/touch/motion) and/or acoustics (speaker/microphone).nExperience with digital signal processing (DSP).nUnderstanding of test principles GRR experience with test automation and in high volume consumer electronics analyzing processing plotting and mining large data of test principles GRR experience with test automation and analytical/problem solving skills and ability to manage many priorities across multiple or deep understanding of AI/ML analytical/problem solving skills and ability to handle many priorities across written and verbal communication and international travel may be required (up to 10%).
