The Instrument Maintenance Technician contributes to the operation and control of equipment used in the process of air separation; while dedicated to supporting and caring for plant mechanical instrumentation and electrical devices and equipment.

• Support maintain and resolve issues with instrumentation systems and calibrations guided by manufacturers instructions local work instructions and governing regulations

• Install maintain adjust and care for manual pneumatic electric and electronic measuring recording and regulating instrumentation

• Maintain resolve issues with and perform preventative inspections on mechanical equipment and systems guided by manufacturers instructions local work instructions and governing regulations

• Support maintain and resolve issues with electrical systems guided by manufacturers instructions local work instructions and governing regulations

• Support quality control and quality assurance equipment including process analyzers and gas chromatographs

• Maintain calibration standards including inspection testing and measuring equipment as well as calibration gas cylinders

• Execute diverse and varied analytical calibrations and adjustments

• Maintain resolve issues with and support maintenance on compressors pumps turbines valves motors and other plant equipment

• Foster a strong culture of safety

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required

• 5 years experience maintaining instrumentation and electrical systems in technical processes in an industrial environment

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Position travels 50 percent of the time

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum two years of college technical school or military technical experience preferred
