Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead safe engaging and effective group fitness classes (e.g. cardio strength yoga cycling HIIT)

  • Provide clear instruction demonstrations and modifications for varying fitness levels and abilities

  • Monitor participant safety including proper form and technique

  • Arrive prepared and on time with structured well-organized class formats

  • Foster a welcoming and motivating class environment

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and studio space

  • Follow all facility policies procedures and emergency protocols

  • Build positive relationships with participants to encourage ongoing engagement

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to motivate and engage multicultural groups of participants

  • Knowledge of fitness principles techniques and class design

  • Adaptability to modify exercises for different ability levels

  • Time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to create a positive environment

Required Work Experience

  • Prior experience leading group fitness classes preferred

  • Current nationally recognized group fitness certification (e.g. ACE AFAA NASM ACSM RYT 200 Zumba)

  • Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to actively lead and demonstrate exercises for extended periods

  • Ability to stand move and remain physically engaged throughout class duration

  • Ability to lift and move fitness equipment as needed

Pay Rate

$66.20/hour

Up to 19 hrs per week
