POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled Vibration Analyst - Instructor to teach dynamic Vibration AnalysisSeminars with a heavy concentration on Predictive Maintenance (PdM). Beyond classroominstruction this multifaceted role provides the opportunity to perform remote Vibration
Analysis Root Cause Analysis and other Consulting Engineering duties as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Instruction & Training: Receive extensive internal training to confidently instructmoderate-sized 3-day ISO Category I and Category II seminars within your first year with the opportunity to progress to teaching higher certification levels over time.
  • Professional Development: Gain the opportunity to receive advanced training topotentially instruct specialized Asset Lubrication Technician Practical Field Balancingand Time Waveform Analysis seminars.
  • Travel & Delivery: Travel approximately 50% of the time to conduct training are delivered both publicly across 12 cities nationwide and on-site directly atclient facilities.
  • Content Development: Assist in the preparation and continuous improvement ofseminar materials including written textbooks PowerPoint presentations and onlinecourse development.
  • Industry Insights: Author and assist in the development of practical case studies andtechnical white papers.
  • Technical Support & Consulting: Provide high-level service-related support includingthe mentoring of client analysts or PdM teams remotely analyzing complex vibrationdata for current clients and offering Subject Matter Expert (SME) support.


QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of practical experience with vibration data collectionand analysis using FFT analyzers and PdM software on rotating machinery.
  • Certification: Hold a valid ISO Category III vibration certification or possess thetechnical ability to successfully achieve this certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Education: A bachelors degree in engineering or a related technical field is preferredbut not required.A two-year technical degree is fully acceptable if paired with sufficient practicalvibration experience and training.
  • Presentation Skills: Prior experience working as an instructor or delivering technicalpresentations is preferred but not required.

SPECIAL SKILLS & PROFICIENCIES:

  • Vibration Analysis: Proficient with the operation of one or more analyzers measuringvibration spectra and time waveforms.
  • Software Literacy: Highly proficient in using standard PC applications specifically the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills toeffectively engage with students and corporate clients.


COMPENSATION & EMPLOYMENT TERMS:

  • Direct Hire: A highly competitive compensation and benefits package is offered fordirect-hire employees.
  • Contracting Option: This position is also open to candidates looking to work on acontract basis.
  • Location: This position is open to candidates anywhere in the United travel to Charlotte NC is required for team meetings though most meetingsare held remotely through Microsoft Teams.
