Job Summary
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Perform tire grading and quality inspections to ensure compliance with Continental and global quality standards classify and disposition off-standard products and support production quality processes. Maintain accurate quality records operate bead heating equipment and uphold all environmental safety and quality management requirements.
- Inspect grade and classify tires to ensure compliance with Continental quality standards.
- Determine disposition and next process steps for off-standard or non-conforming tires.
- Evaluate tires returned from uniformity balancing weighing and over-inspection processes.
- Accurately enter and maintain quality-related data in grading systems.
- Identify quality issues and take appropriate corrective actions including notifying stakeholders and stopping equipment when necessary.
- Operate bead heating machines according to established procedures.
- Rotate across shifts as needed to support production requirements.
- Follow Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) procedures and promote a strong safety culture.
- Maintain knowledge of Continental quality standards off-standard catalogs and applicable QMS certifications and requirements.
- Be self-managed detail-oriented and capable of performing under pressure
- Follow all plant ESH CBS quality and department processes and procedures
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
- High school diploma or GED
- One or more years experience in manufacturing
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job posting
