Inspector II (Grader)

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Perform tire grading and quality inspections to ensure compliance with Continental and global quality standards classify and disposition off-standard products and support production quality processes. Maintain accurate quality records operate bead heating equipment and uphold all environmental safety and quality management requirements.

• Inspect grade and classify tires to ensure compliance with Continental quality standards.
• Determine disposition and next process steps for off-standard or non-conforming tires.
• Evaluate tires returned from uniformity balancing weighing and over-inspection processes.
• Accurately enter and maintain quality-related data in grading systems.
• Identify quality issues and take appropriate corrective actions including notifying stakeholders and stopping equipment when necessary.
• Operate bead heating machines according to established procedures.
• Rotate across shifts as needed to support production requirements.
• Follow Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) procedures and promote a strong safety culture.
• Maintain knowledge of Continental quality standards off-standard catalogs and applicable QMS certifications and requirements.
• Be self-managed detail-oriented and capable of performing under pressure
• Follow all plant ESH CBS quality and department processes and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years experience in manufacturing
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job posting
• No relocation assistance is offered for this position

ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT
