As a Detail Inspector I youll support the StandardAero Miramar team by inspecting the quality of all incoming and outgoing material and serving as a strong advocate for quality reliability and attention to detail while ensuring compliance with quality standards. Our team provides airlines and MRO service providers with high-quality aircraft material and cost-effective solutions through exceptional customer service industry experience and rigorous quality control to support our customers operational and financial goals.
What youll do:
- Inspect incoming and outgoing parts to ensure they are up to quality standards and FAAregulations.
- Perform general warehouseduties.
- Perform self-audits on procedures to ensure conformity to the quality management system; ISO 9001:2015.
- Prepare and submit reports to the qualitymanager.
- Receiving and inspecting engineteardowns.
- Shipping parts to customers and vendors.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
2 years of aviation quality assurance experience including quality inspection of aircraft parts materials or components.
Experience working with quality management systems procedures and applicable quality standards.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.
Ability to lift and/or move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
Desired Skills
- 2 years of shipping/receiving in aviation.
- A keen eye for detail and a results-drivenapproach.
- Certification of quality control (e.g. ISO 9000).
- Prior experience with Quantum Control preferred.
