You will inspect electronic sub-assemblies and assemblies to ensure products meet specifications and standards directly supporting production quality and delivery. You will work onsite on a 1st shift (5:00 AM - 1:30 PM) and collaborate with production assembly and inspection teams to prevent defects and confirm conformance to IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 where applicable. Your work ensures downstream testing and acceptance proceed smoothly and on schedule.

• Perform in-process and final inspections of new and repaired sub-assemblies assemblies and electronic systems
• Use standard inspection devices elementary testing equipment and precision measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy and conformance to specifications
• Visually examine solder joints wiring cables and plated areas for defects and uniformity
• Compare assemblies to parts lists and schematics to detect missing hardware or misrouting
• Perform first-article inspections and witness in-process and acceptance testing
• Record inspection data (serial numbers defect types and percentages rework required) and calculate defect rates
• Keep inspection workstations and equipment clean and perform light clerical tasks as assigned

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3 to 6 years of related electronics inspection experience
• Some mechanical inspection experience
• Ability to read and interpret schematics drawings shop orders and procedure manuals
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate timely results
• Basic math skills (add subtract multiply divide; compute rate ratio percent)
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English

• J-STD-001 certification preferred

$24.80 - $31.00/hour
