Job Title: Inside Sales/Customer Service

Job Purpose:

Build and maintain relationships with assigned customers. Seek new distribution for Milton where applicable and/or assigned. Add new product categories and additional products where applicable for all customers. Offer customer service and technical assistance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
• Identifies revenue opportunities within customers through communications programs and other activities as needed.
• Ensures prospect identification planning account qualification and needs analysis at all levels.
• Responds to requests from customers for information and other needs.
• Engages in technical discussions with potential clients through demonstrations and presentations.
• Remains knowledgeable and up to date on changes and developments in the B2B infrastructure and e-commerce channels.
• Keeps management informed of all activities including timely preparation of reports.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Work with accounts and ensure their websites have the most current A content.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office and use of CRM.

• None: The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (as in typical office or administrative work).

Physical Requirements:

• Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time the job is rated for Light Work.

• Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately loudly or quickly.
• Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and making fine discriminations in sound.
• Repetitive motions: Making substantial movements (motions) of the wrists hands and/or fingers.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in a technical or business field or equivalent experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales or sales support role

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a mechanical or technical field

Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships

Experience identifying and developing new sales opportunities including cold calling and lead follow-up

Strong communication and presentation skills both written and verbal

Comfortable engaging in technical discussions and product demonstrations with clients

Familiarity with B2B sales environments and e-commerce platforms

Proficient in using standard office equipment and tools including Microsoft Office

Able to manage multiple tasks prioritize responsibilities and work independently

Willingness to travel occasionally as needed
