Job Summary
Position OverviewWe are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role plays a vital part in supporting our customers managing inbound inquiries processing orders and ensuring seamless communication between internal departments and our valued clients. You will also assist the outside sales team and contribute to business development you are passionate about delivering excellent service have strong organizational skills and enjoy working in a collaborative environment this position could be a great fit for Responsibilities: Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone and email providing timely information on product availability pricing and technical specificationsPrepare accurate sales quotations and convert them into orders through our ERP systemMaintain strong customer relationships by understanding their business needs and offering thoughtful solution-oriented supportCollaborate with Outside Sales Representatives to ensure a consistent and coordinated customer experienceIdentify new opportunities and act on opportunities for lead generation upselling direct selling or cross-selling within existing customer accounts in collaboration with outside salesProactively follow up on outstanding quotes backorders and delivery timelinesMaintain up-to-date customer and sales activity records within our CRM systemCoordinate with other departments to resolve customer issues efficiently and professionallyOccasionally assist with customer service-related functions such as returns order tracking and documentationUtilize social media prospecting and creative marketing tools to attract new businessQualifications13 years of experience in inside sales customer service or industrial distribution (experience with plastics or piping systems is a plus)Strong interpersonal and communication skillsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailFamiliarity with ERP and CRM systems is a plus Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced team-oriented environmentA proactive customer-focused mindset and a desire to contribute to team successHunter mentality and desire to earn uncapped commissions
