About the Role

As an Inside Sales Associate you will serve as a key link between Prysmian our customers and our Outside Sales team supporting the telecom fiber and copper business and playing a key role in driving customer satisfaction revenue and operational performance. You will partner directly with customers Outside Sales and cross-functional teams to deliver timely accurate solutions and ensure orders move seamlessly from request to fulfillment.

This is a high-impact fast-paced role where attention to detail responsiveness and strong collaboration directly influence business outcomes and customer success.

What Youll Do

  • Manage Customer Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts building strong relationships while handling a high volume of requests
  • Drive Quoting & Pricing: Analyze customer needs and specifications to deliver accurate timely quotes including pricing lead times and product availability
  • Own the Order Lifecycle: Manage order progress communication updates and collaborate with internal teams to meet customer expectations
  • Resolve Issues with Ownership: Address returns claims and discrepancies identifying root causes and driving resolution across teams
  • Collaborate Cross Functionally: Work closely with Scheduling Manufacturing Shipping Quality Finance Engineering and Product teams to deliver customer solutions
  • Support Sales Growth: Partner with Outside Sales and Sales Agents to contribute to account growth customer retention and identify opportunities that contribute to overall business growth
  • Interpret Customer Requirements: Translate customer needs and technical specifications into accurate orders and solutions with support from internal teams
  • Act as the Voice of the Customer: Represent customer needs internally and ensure alignment across teams
  • Contribute to Business Initiatives: Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives that support specialty market growth and new opportunities

What Were Looking For

Experience and Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelors degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Experience in customer service sales support account coordination order management or inside sales
  • Experience handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Skills & Capabilities

  • Ability to manage customer relationships in a fast-paced high-volume environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling quotes orders and data
  • Ability to problem-solve and coordinate across multiple teams to resolve issues
  • Comfort working with technical product information and customer specifications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Outlook Word)

Preferred

  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP AS400 or similar)
  • Familiarity with EDI processes
