Job Summary
Location: Lubbock TX
Duration: 26 Weeks (Possible Extension)
- Night Shift: 7 Days On / 7 Days Off
- Schedule: 8:00 PM 6:30 AM
- Shift Options:
- 4x10-Hour Shifts
- 3x10-Hour Shifts
- Every Other Weekend Required
- Block Scheduling Available
Weekly Pay: $2300 $2850/week

We are seeking a licensed Inpatient Pharmacist for a travel assignment in a trauma center setting. The pharmacist will primarily work overnight shifts supporting inpatient pharmacy operations and medication management services. During the assignment there may be a temporary transition to day shift coverage based on department needs.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical pharmacy knowledge excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Review and verify medication orders for accuracy appropriateness and safety
- Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with hospital and pharmacy policies
- Monitor patient medication therapies and provide clinical recommendations when appropriate
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal medication management
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records patient documentation and medication profiles
- Ensure compliance with state federal and hospital pharmacy regulations
- Support pediatric inpatient pharmacy operations and clinical initiatives as needed
- Participate in medication safety and quality improvement activities
- Maintain inventory control and medication storage standards
- Active Texas Pharmacist License required
- Previous inpatient or hospital pharmacy experience preferred

- Ability to work overnight shifts and rotating weekends
- Strong attention to detail and clinical judgment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-acuity healthcare environment
- Pediatric or trauma center pharmacy experience preferred
- Experience with hospital EMR and pharmacy systems preferred
