Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Ink Room Manager to oversee ink room operations within a high-volume packaging or manufacturing environment. This leadership role is responsible for managing daily operations supporting pressroom production maintaining inventory accuracy leading team members and ensuring exceptional customer service while driving continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day ink room operations in a fast-paced manufacturing or packaging facility.
  • Support pressroom production through ink management color matching troubleshooting and technical support.
  • Supervise train and develop ink room personnel while fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure proper material control and organization.
  • Partner with production teams to improve product quality consistency and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and optimize operational performance.
  • Ensure timely response to production needs while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational reliability.
Qualifications
  • Experience managing ink room operations in packaging printing or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong leadership experience in a production or pressroom setting.
  • Knowledge of ink management color matching inventory control and pressroom workflows.
  • Experience using color measurement equipment such as a spectrophotometer.
  • Strong organizational communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Color matching experience.
  • Background supporting printing or packaging production operations.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives.
