Focus on injury prevention ergonomics and employee wellness
Schedule: 40 hours per week will be required to travel to multiple locations
Monday Wednesday Friday and two Thursdays per month- Brewster NY
Every Tuesday- Orange CT
Two Thursdays each month split: One Thursday at Pittsfield MA and one Thursday at Clifton Park NY.
Key Accountabilities
Conducts employee injury prevention programs education and training.
Leads the development and implementation of interventions/programs focused on the manufacturing environment to meet client objectives.
Assists employee healthcare teams with job function assessment incident investigation and care management.
Collect and evaluate program data to support ROI process manages and reports data for their assigned plant.
Develop promote and market wellness and general education programs.
Other duties as needed/assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Associates Degree or higher in Exercise Physiology Kinesiology Athletic Training Exercise Science or a related field or licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA).
2 years experience in health and fitness.
Preferred
Personal Training Certification.
Understanding of Biomechanics.
Understanding of Occupational Safety.
Work experience in a clinical environment (occupational therapy physical therapy cardiac rehab nursing).
