We have an opportunity for an Injection Molding Maintenance Specialist to join our Moorpark CA team. You will use your knowledge skills and effort to safely install inspect diagnose repair and maintain production and facility equipment. You will utilize preventative maintenance processes on all production equipment to maintain minimal interruptions to addition you will work with limited supervision and assist with the training and development of Junior Techs.

You will:

• Troubleshoot diagnose and repair Milacron injection molding machines up to 1500 tons and related production equipment.
• Perform preventive predictive and corrective maintenance on electrical hydraulic pneumatic mechanical and control systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC electrical systems high-voltage panels motors drives PLCs and automation controls.
• Complete machining fabrication and welding projects to support equipment repairs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics hydraulic diagrams mechanical drawings and AutoCAD prints.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability safety and uptime.
• Train and mentor maintenance personnel and machine operators on troubleshooting equipment operation and maintenance best practices.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting Milacron injection molding machines up to 1500 tons.
• Strong electrical background including AC/DC electricity high-voltage panel work motors drives and controls; Electricians license preferred.
• Experience with PLCs automation controls mechatronics hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Hands-on experience with manual machining CNC machining or a machinist apprenticeship.
• Welding and fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics blueprints and AutoCAD drawings.
• Proven ability to train mentor and develop technicians and operators.
• Full ability to frequently stand walk sit twist at the waist bend lift (up to 50 pounds) and reach with hands and arms.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Steel-toed footwear is required.

Education:

• High School Diploma

Compensation:

• The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is $33.00/hour DOE. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements skills and experience.

Shift:

• 1st Shift: either 6am-2:40pm 7am-3:40pm or 8am-4:40pm (based on team needs)
• OT and weekends required as needed
