JOB SUMMARY: The Plastic Technician will be required to perform all duties listed in the Essential Duties and Responsibilities section. You must be able to demonstrate your leadership abilities must be a self starter. You will be performing special assignments which will include; assisting our Manufacturing engineers working with process improvements packaging requirements for both new and existing parts and you will assist with Tools trials (this could include from start to finish). You may also be required to assist Technicians on Shift with Mold and Color changes these directions would be given by the Supervisors. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Start-up and shutdown of production orders on all injection molding machines.
Utilize edit and improve the Master Set-up Process Sheets.
Troubleshoot injection-molding processes.
Assist with training of other Technicians on other shifts as needed.
Be able to change shifts on a short notice.(which includes working 3rd shift for a short time).
Perform mold insert and color changes.
Develop work instructions.
Submit qualifying parts to the quality lab.
Work to assist with maintaining our production schedule.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Program edit and troubleshoot robot programs.
- Be a team player.
- Communication and Leadership skills. (Both Verbal and Written)

Candidates already assigned to the work unit (Assembly Weld Materials Quality etc.) willbe considered first.If a suitable candidate is not identified all other eligible candidates will be considered.
Failure to attend a scheduled interview (No Show) without notice will result in being ineligible for future roles for 6 months.
If selected for the position youare required tomove into the position upon the effective date.If you are no longer interested in the position you must withdraw prior to an offer being presented.If unable to accept the position as expected you will be ineligible for future roles for 1 year from the date of refusal.
Base Pay Range:
$24.66 - $29.47Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. Visa sponsorship will not be provided. To qualify for this position former employees must be eligible for rehire and current employees must be in good standing.
