Reporting to the Department Manager the Billing Coordinator I plays a key role in supporting accurate and timely reimbursement by preparing reviewing and submitting insurance claims for assigned accounts. This position is responsible for managing primary secondary and tertiary claims resolving claim denials processing account adjustments and coordinating refund documentation and mailings. The Billing Coordinator I works collaboratively with internal teams to ensure efficient billing operations compliance with organizational standards and exceptional service. Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on departmental needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Six (6) months billing & collection experience is required

Salary Range: Minimum 15.00/hour - Maximum 24.09/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
