Job Summary
- Youll manage project controls cost and performance activities and procedures project logistics organization systems and project close-out.
- Youll assume role on projects as the clients advisor and project manager. Function as an extension of client staff.
- Youll document and track relevant information and project reportsincluding risk and construction progressand enforce QA/QC.
- Youll manage both the project budget and schedule to meet the qualitative standards.
- Youll review contractors construction schedules and provide feedback to help ensure timely completion of the work.
- Youll manage and coordinates project team and contractors in communicating directives and ensuring the project scope is built according to plans specifications and cost limits.
- Youll anticipate and resolve conflicts across design construction operations safety and commissioning while liaising with key airport divisions.
- Youll oversee shop drawing reviews mockups acceptance tests and participate in testing commissioning and punch list closeout.
- Youll review design team responses to requests for clarification from contractors to ensure Owner views are represented.
- Youll negotiate with contractors to achieve a fair and reasonable cost for change orders and reviews their impact on the project.
- Youll review applications for payment and perform fiscal management of project resources.
- Youll coordinate with airport stakeholders to meet administrative operational technical engineering and closeout objectives.
- Youll lead project meetings.
- Youll perform other construction management functions as assigned.
- Youll work onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
- 5 years of experience in Construction Management
- BS or BA in Architecture Engineering Urban Planning Construction Management
- Experience utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) preferred
- Experience with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified projects preferred
- PE CCM EIT LEED or licensure as an Architect preferred
