Job Summary

  • Youll develop review and manage project-specific Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Plans in alignment with the Global Construction Safety Policy and OSHA regulations.
  • Youll lead the development and implementation of cost control systems plans and procedures across project portfolios.
  • Youll monitor budgets expenditures and forecasts to ensure compliance with all project and corporate financial objectives.
  • Youll identify cost variances potential risks and savings opportunities proposing corrective actions as required.
  • Youll prepare and maintain detailed cost reports dashboards and forecasts for project leadership and stakeholders.
  • Youll conduct variance analysis cash flow tracking and earned value performance reporting.
  • Youll partner with project management engineering procurement and finance teams to coordinate all aspects of cost control.
  • Youll act as a trusted financial advisor to project leadership providing clear and actionable recommendations.
  • Youll lead and mentor cost control team members fostering professional development and accountability.
  • Youll drive process improvement and standardization in cost management practices and tools.
  • Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.

HERES WHAT YOULL NEED:
  • Bachelors degree in business administration Engineering Construction Management or related discipline.
  • 7 years in project cost control or financial analysis with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role supporting large capital or industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting forecasting earned value management (EVM) and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in SAP Oracle or equivalent ERP systems and expert use of Microsoft Excel.
  • Proven ability to interpret complex data identify trends and communicate financial implications.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent leadership collaboration and communication capabilities.
  • Background in life sciences manufacturing construction or large-scale infrastructure projects preferred.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
  • Masters degree in Business Administration Engineering Construction Management or related discipline.
  • 10 years in project cost control or financial analysis with at least 8 years in a leadership or managerial role supporting large capital or industrial projects.
  • Advance knowledge of budgeting forecasting earned value management (EVM) and financial reporting.
  • Advance proficiency in SAP Oracle or equivalent ERP systems and expert use of Microsoft Excel.
$120000 - $180000 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors which may include but are not limited to the specific office location role skill set and level of experience. As required by local law Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois Maine Minnesota California Colorado District of Columbia Maryland Massachusetts New York New Jersey Ohio Virginia or Washington as set forth below.
