Job Summary
- Youll serve as primary point of contact with unit representatives throughout the duration of theproject.
- Youll manage the work efforts of external organizations such as A/E firms general contractors and construction managers.
- Youll coordinate the work efforts of institutional organizations such as interior design environmental graphic design information technology access control and environmental health safety and risk management to ensure thatprogramobjectives institutional design and construction standards regulatory requirements theprojectschedule requirements and theprojectbudgetare achieved.
- Youll coordinate with and manage submissions to Masons Office of University Building Official and the State Fire Marshalls Office to ensure regulatory compliance is achieved.
- Youll direct activities of other facilities members of theprojectteam (projectengineerprojectinspector/ construction fieldrepresentative etc.) and contracted consultants.
- Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
- 12 years experience in progressively complex engineering or architectural positions
- Demonstrated experience with projects that include complexprogramcriteria such as academic research facilities BSL Labs emerging science and engineering buildings medical facilities or projects of a similar nature
- Hold a valid state drivers license
- Hold a bachelors degree in engineering or architecture
- RegisteredArchitector LicensedProfessional Engineer(in any state) required; have the ability to transfer an out of state registration as anArchitectorProfessional Engineerto the Commonwealth of Virginia within one year
- Significant experience in lieu of the required licensure
