THE WORK:
  • Youll manage oversee and coordinate all facets of the pre-construction bid and award construction and close-out phase of all assigned projects.
  • Youll review pre-construction documents and submits comments to Designer as necessary.
  • Youll plan organize and prepare reports to upper management with respect to the status and/or progress of the projects.
  • Youll coordinate with all pertinent public agencies during pre-construction and construction to comply
    with all off-site work; coordinates with various District and Project staff.
  • Youll manage both the project budget and schedule to meet the Districts qualitative standards; monitor project budget monthly and ensures that the budget accurately reflects the project status/progress
  • Youll manage daily activities of the contractor reviews contractors construction schedules andsubmittals and coordinate responses to the contractors inquiries thru the Requests for Clarifications (RFC) and other related documents.
  • Youll review substitution submittals from contractors to ensure specification and/or Districtrequirements are complied with.
  • Youll receive review and negotiate Contractor Change Order Proposal(s) to achieve a fair &reasonable price in accordance with the General Conditions; review and address any and allSchedule impacts in accordance with the project specifications in a timely manner.
  • Youll review the process and monitor payments for the contractor architects engineers and any other pertinent parties.
  • Youll administer provisions of Professional Service Agreements between Architects and the District.
  • Youll coordinate District delivery of related fixtures furniture and equipment.
  • Youll monitor and manage project close-out with respect to project certification with the Division ofState Architects (DSA) and project financial close out.
  • Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
HERES WHAT YOULL NEED:
  • Candidates who meet one of the following combinations ofqualifications will be considered for this position:
    • Fifteen (15) years full time paid professional experience in Construction and/or a combination of Project and Construction Management of Commercial and/or Public/Educational Facility Construction. Five (5) of the fifteen (15) years should have full responsibility for coordinating complex projects with construction values of more than $20M
    • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelors degree in architectureengineering or construction management
    • A Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential from the Construction ManagementAssociation of America (CMAA) may substitute for the education requirement.
    • OR
    • Twenty (20) years full time paid professional experience in Construction and/or acombination of Project and Construction Management of Commercial and/orPublic/Educational Facility Construction. Fifteen (15) of the twenty (20) years should havefull responsibility for coordinating complex projects with construction values of more than$20M
    • Preferred (Not Required): Graduation from a recognized college or university with a degreein architecture engineering or construction management
    • Preferred (Not Required): A Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential from theConstruction Management Association of America
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
  • Design Build Experience
  • Experience utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM)
  • Experience with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified projects and/orthe Collaborative for High Performing Schools (CHPS)
  • Experience with Division of the State Architect (DSA) construction/design processes
  • Safety and OSHA Safety Regulations (OSHA 30 minimum)
  • A valid Certificate of Registration as an Architect by the California Architectural Board or Professional Engineer by the State Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors
  • A valid Construction Manager (CCM) credential by the Construction Manager CertificationInstitute (CMCI)
$193000 - $212000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors which may include but are not limited to the specific office location role skill set and level of experience. As required by local law Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois Maine Minnesota California Colorado District of Columbia Maryland Massachusetts New York New Jersey Ohio Virginia or Washington as set forth below.
