Job Summary
- Youll be responsible for planning coordinating and supervising commissioning and testing activities for electrical substations ensuring compliance with technical standards quality requirements and safety regulations.
- Youll lead multidisciplinary teams during commissioning providing technical guidance and resolving on-site issues.
- Youll review validate and document test procedures and results to ensure alignment with design specifications regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Youll collaborate closely with contractors design engineers operations teams and clients to support successful project execution.
- Youll maintain project timelines budgets and safety standards throughout all phases of testing and commissioning.
- Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.

- Must have a BS/BA degree in an engineering discipline from an ABET (or Owner approved equivalent) accredited college/university and 5 years experience in the following areas: Construction maintenance and testing of electrical equipment Relay protection and control systems Start-up and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems Electrical Field engineering Arc Flash safety training Troubleshooting of electrical equipment or systems.
- SCADA and communication systems Specialized advanced training is also required (e.g. PTI. WPI ECNE PUI a graduate level engineering degree).
- Professional experience in commissioning and testing of electrical substations including supervision of construction commissioning and energization activities
- Professional knowledge of electrical systems protection & control and substation equipment
- Ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams in the field
- Professional experience with problem-solving and decision-making under project deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Willingness to travel and work on-site across New York State
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or related field
