Job Summary
- Youll assist Planning and Development staff by providing support services pertaining to the planning design and construction of educational facility projects.
- Youll assist in performing routine procedural work related to management of Architectural-Engineering contracts and services and preparing studies and presentations.
- Youll read and interpret architectural engineering and planning documents.
- Youll collect and organize data for reports and presentations.
- Youll assist in the preparation of reports and minor project research.
- Youll update and maintain project files with technical information.
- Youll review plans and design/construction documentation for compliance with applicable LAUSDstandard requirements and federal state and local codes.
- Youll review and prepare internal documentation for completeness and approval by other Districtbranches (i.e.: AE Contracts AE invoices etc.).
- Youll assist in coordinating project activities with other District organizational branches anddepartments (i.e.: Office of the Environmental Health and Safety A/E Design ServicesMaintenance and Operations Furniture Interiors Group Project Execution Local Districtsetc.) in support of design and construction administration functions.
- Youll participate in community relations and outreach programs to create understanding andacceptance of District building projects within the community.
- Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
- Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelors degree in architectureengineering or planning
- A minimum of five (5) years full-time paid professional experience working in an architecture and design setting
- Experience performing architectural engineering or planning design and coordination ofdesign disciplines conducting surveys and field investigations and reviewing architecturalengineering or planning drawings and documentation
- Three (3) years of this experience must be with the design planning and construction ofeducational facilities or similar public agency
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors which may include but are not limited to the specific office location role skill set and level of experience.
