THE WORK:
  • Youll provide technical and administrative management services for the project; coordinate and oversee all activities related to the construction of the project; maintain close liaison with the Countys Project Manager; and copy the County Project Manager on all correspondence.
  • Youll act as the resident engineer including pay quantity calculations and the monitoring of the contractors performance to verify compliance with project plans specifications permits regulatory requirements and agreements.
  • Youll maintain project files in CMIS / Project Management Software at the job site.
  • Youll review and monitor the contractors schedule through weekly meetings compile daily inspection records and prepare weekly status reports and correspondence related to project activities.
  • Youll represent the client at all levels of the project manage daily coordination between the contractor client and CQA and conduct daily site visits to stay informed of field activities issues and site BMP compliance.
  • Youll lead pre-construction conferences specialty meetings and weekly progress meetings by preparing and reviewing agendas and minutes while maintaining familiarity with all plans specifications and contract documents.
  • Youll provide full in-charge management of heavy civil and/or landfill projects including mass excavation geomembrane liner systems leachate collection piping subdrains sumps storm drains and drainage structures.
  • Youll produce daily field reports and manage project administration activities including reviewing and processing change orders pay applications submittals RFIs and Accenture invoicing.
  • Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.

HERES WHAT YOULL NEED:
  • 5 years of experience providing full in-charge technical administrative and field management for heavy civil and/or landfill construction projects including resident engineering contractor oversight schedule and cost control regulatory compliance project reporting and client coordination from pre-construction through closeout.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
  • Knowledge of reviewing and monitoring the contractors schedule through weekly meetings compiling daily inspection records and preparing weekly status reports and correspondence related to project activities
  • Relevant experience identifying actual and potential problems associated with the construction project and consulting with the design engineer and Countys Project Manager to implement engineering solutions
  • Relevant experience conferring with and advising the Countys Project Manager regarding the status of significant items and verifying that appropriate notifications and/or coordination for specific events have taken place
  • Knowledge of health and safety requirements and monitoring applicable contract provisions for the protection of the public and project personnel.
  • Relevant experience coordinating submittal reviews with the design engineer
  • Relevant experience preparing progress payments to the contractor for Countys approval
  • Knowledge of reviewing the contractors as-built drawing markups prior to submission to the County and maintaining a set of red-line drawings
$130000 - $170000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors which may include but are not limited to the specific office location role skill set and level of experience. As required by local law Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois Maine Minnesota California Colorado District of Columbia Maryland Massachusetts New York New Jersey Ohio Virginia or Washington as set forth below.
