THE WORK:
- Youll provide inspection and quality assurance on highway and roadway construction projects.
- Youll determine whether completed work complies with plans and specifications.
- Youll coordinate work with the contractor and various public utility agencies.
- Youll maintain records and reports related to the project.
- Youll coordinate directly with the general contractor.
- Youll negotiate change orders.
- Youll assist in inspections to ensure compliance with contract plans specifications and special provisions.
- Youll assist in preparing contract change orders contract estimates progress pay estimates and other required project documents or reports.
- Youll coordinate the sampling and testing of construction materials to monitor compliance with contract specifications.
- Youll monitor and track contractor progress.
- Youll prepare daily weekly and monthly reports as required.
- Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
HERES WHAT YOULL NEED:
- Graduation from a four-year ABET-accredited civil engineering program or a valid EIT certification may be substituted for the required education
- Minimum two (2) years experience in roadway construction inspection of highways or major public works projects performing duties described in this contract
OR
- Masters or Doctorate degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Minimum two (2) years experience in roadway construction inspection of highways or major public works projects performing duties described in this contract
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- Knowledge of Caltrans standards
- Knowledge of the physical characteristics and properties of roadway construction materials including concrete and steel
$126000 - $150000 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors which may include but are not limited to the specific office location role skill set and level of experience. As required by local law Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois Maine Minnesota California Colorado District of Columbia Maryland Massachusetts New York New Jersey Ohio Virginia or Washington as set forth below.
