Infrastructure Administrator

Job role: Infrastructure Administrator

Duration: 3-6 months

Location: 860 Remington Blvd Bolingbrook IL 60440 (fully onsite)

Position Overview

This is a hands-on on site role combining systems administration endpoint management and Tier 2/3 support. One resource will backfill a departing team member while the second will help address backlog and close key skill gaps on the team.

The environment is lean and collaborative offering the opportunity to take ownership of critical infrastructure functions-particularly within SCCM backup/recovery and virtualization.

Key Responsibilities:

Endpoint Management

• Administer and optimize SCCM / MECM environment
• Package deploy and manage applications patches and OS images
• Troubleshoot deployment issues and manage client health/reporting
• Drive improvements in endpoint management processes and automation

Systems & Infrastructure

• Support Nutanix HCI environment (administration monitoring performance)
• Manage Windows Server Active Directory and Group Policy
• Perform patching upgrades and general system maintenance

Backup & Disaster Recovery

• Administer Veeam Backup & Replication
• Monitor backup jobs perform restores and validate backup integrity
• Assist with disaster recovery readiness and documentation

Networking & General IT Support

• Troubleshoot network issues across LAN/WAN (Palo Alto environment)
• Support VLANs DNS DHCP VPN connectivity
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for end users (hardware software connectivity)
• Manage tickets and service requests (30 40 per week across team)
