Job Summary
Responsible for general technical support for students faculty and staff of the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine/ Imaging School (1000 users).
Responsible for general technical support to include but not limited to as much of the following as possible:
- Administers all smart-podiums troubleshooting all Audio-Visual issues in lecture halls labs and classrooms
- Respond to service tickets
- Performs installation configuration deployment and troubleshooting of desktop/laptop computers and peripherals
- Administers Print Server and printing management software
- Administers E-Mail listserv for faculty staff and student body
- Troubleshoots network (wired and wireless) related issues
- Technical support for Medical Simulation Machines
- Assists students and instructors with Canvas and clicker issues
- Assist students with Exam issues
- Troubleshoot Zoom issues
- Other duties as required
- Bachelor of Science preferred.
- At least 3 years of IT experience preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in communication (written and verbal) required
- Customer service and team orientated required
- A high degree of interpersonal competency: professionalism diplomacy judgement and discretion required
- Demonstrated ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships with students faculty and colleagues required
- Networking DNS DHCP LDAP TCP/IP
- Knowledge of Windows Workstations/Servers Linux Servers (preferred) and Mac OSX.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel PowerPoint & Outlook
- Basic understanding of Audio-Visual equipment.
- Internet research
- Extensive time sitting and standing
- Ability to lift 10 lbs.
